Here at Angelia Adventist Clinic in Kiev, Ukraine, we are continuing to provide services for our patients and helping the community by providing our neighbors with personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves and antiseptics.
In addition, we offer COVID-19 express testing for free, which takes approximately 30 minutes. We are delighted to see that tests are coming back negative — happiness happens!
However, sadly, we are seeing an increase in a number of mental health issues as well as staff and patients exhibiting panic, anxiety and fear.
In response, we will be hosting a mental health conference for medical professionals this May 5-7, via Zoom teleconference. We are expecting 300 doctors, psychologists and nurses, all from Russian speaking territories, including Ukraine, Moldova, Central Asia countries, Russia. Translation will be available.
